Keeping in view the present research infrastructure and problems being faced by faculties and researchers at different levels and to improve the research output of the University, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor took keen interest to create a separate Cell to deal with such problems. Subsequently Research and Consultancy Coordination Cell (RCC Cell) was constituted by the University consisting one coordinator and two members. This Cell was asked to make the recommendations to improve the research environment for the improvement of quality research output in the University. This Cell after elaborate consultations with the members and faculties made recommendations to help the University to prepare a Research Action Plan, Research Policy, IPRs Policy, Research and Consultancy Guidelines etc. for attaining excellence in research and its application. It was also decided that all documents related to the extramural funding to the Departments or individuals including Research projects, Consultancy etc. should be routed through RCC cell to facilitate the timely approval of such papers from University authorities. Besides this, RCC Cell has also been asked to maintain a core fund to support the researchers in different ways and to honour the best researcher with award and citation by the University.
Researchers may contact the RCC Cell for any help/ guidance.
