PROGRAMME - M. Ed.
The Learning Outcomes of this programme is to –
PSO1: Prepare field workers in education equipped with the knowledge of research process and would be conversant with the important techniques of educational researches.
PSO2: Prepare professional who would be required to Staff College of education at primary, primary, and secondary levels.
PSO3: Developed specialized knowledge and understanding about the philosophical and sociological bases of education.
PSO4: Develop ability to understand human behaviour and personality, capability to apply this knowledge and understanding to guide the learners to learn efficiently and effectively.
PSO5: Develop National and International perspectives about Educational theories and practice to enable the learners to visualize the inter-linkages and dependency among different educational system.
PSO6: Train the future administrators and supervisors for the educational institutions, department of education and supervisory education services.
PSO7: Develop the working knowledge of ICTs and their application in formal and non- formal system of education and for teacher empowerment.
PSO8: Develop knowledge and understanding of management, planning and functioning of education as also develop managerial and administrative capabilities and skills to effectively manage educational institutions.
PSO9: Develop knowledge and understanding of the process of educational research and aptitude for and skill in conducting research in specialized areas of education and thus generate knowledge and critically evaluate knowledge.
PSO10: Develop awareness and understanding of some specialised areas of education and human development like- educational psychology, curriculum development, teacher education, elementary and secondary education, measurement and evaluation, research in education, value education, environmental education, information and communication technology in education vocational education etc, so as to widen the horizon of understanding of modern educational practices and to develop critical thinking pertaining to issues related to education.
PSO11: Train persons for various psychological services such as psychological testing, educational and vocational guidance, statistical with an educational orientation.

After the completion of B. Ed the Pupil teacher will be able to-

PSO8: Conduct Pedagogical content analysis in subject areas and use it for facilitating learning in the classroom.
