Department of Anthropology  S.R.T. Campus Badshahi Thaul is running Under Graduate & Post Graduate Courses for B.A/B.Sc. & M.A./M.Sc. in the Subject.Department has 40/30 Seats each for Under Graduate Courses that is for First, Second  & third year. For Post Graduate Courses that is First year & Second year 10 seats each are available.From the session 2010-2011 we are going to have Semister System at Post Graduate level.Admission in P.G.Courses is through Entrance-Test conducted by the University.

Department is Headed by Dr. Rukma Rawat,Associate Professor Sociology,since 2000-2001 . Three Guest Faclties are rendering their services since the inception of the department. It is with the help of these Teachers the department is growing gradually in a good shape with a good collection  Local Cultural items along with a rich laboratory. Various Specialized papers such as Linguistic Anthropology, Ecology Anthropology, Forensic Anthropology are taught in the Department. The Department is actively engaged in research work & various co-Curricular activities of the campus.
