Course and Admission Process
Name and term of Course	Admission Process	Minimum Eligibility
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Three year course	Strictly on the Merit basis. Reservations as per Government o India orders released from time to time. Weightage mechanism is given in the admission booklet.	40 % in the qualifying examination for General candidates and 35 % for S.C.candidates.
Master of Arts (M A) - Two year course (Split into 4 semesters)	On the basis of PG Entrance Test	-Same as above-
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) - Minimum two years after registration and maximum five years.	On the basis of Written test conducted by the University. Reservations as per GOI rules	55 % marks in the Post-graduation 50 % for SC and ST Candidates
