About the Department

The Department of Business Management, set up by the university in the year 1996 with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education and the then State Government of Uttar Pradesh. The Department is offering two-year full time MBA Programme and Ph.D. course. The students are selected for admission through Common University Entrance Test (CUET).The department attracts students from different pockets of the country. The total approved strength is Eighty Nine seats. The Department has 08 well qualified full time regular faculties with 01 Professor, 02 Associate Professors and 05 Assistant Professors.

The Department has its own library, which is also supported by the University Central Library, to ensure that the students are provided the best of Management books. The Department is functioning in a spacious, airy and well built building situated in the heart of the University campus at Chauras, across the river banks of Alaknanda. The class rooms are equipped with overhead/LCD projectors. Case studies, simulation exercises, classroom presentation, class lectures including group activities like seminars, workshops, guest lectures by outside experts, brain games, quizzes and field works are exercised related to personality development, enriching communication skills, and building team spirit are regular features. Summer training, field assignment and project work are essential features of the course.
