Brief Information about Department

In 1972, this Physics Department was established with undergraduate course in Physics. The postgraduate course was started from session 1991-1992 with specialization in electronics in this department. After that, semester system was started from session 2011-2012. Presently, in the department three professors, one lab assistant and two M.T.S. are working. Due to research activities in the department, ten research scholars have been awarded D.Phil. degree.
