At present the Department of Commerce is providing quality education at undergraduate, post graduate level and Ph. D. course in regular mode. Where B. Com, M. Com and Ph. D are the regular programs and Diploma in Advertising, Sales Promotion and Sales Management is being offered as an add-on course. The CBCS pattern has been introduced since 2015-16 at UG and PG level wherein continuous monitoring of learning ability of students is being assessed. HNB Garhwal University has adopted & introduced New Education Policy-2020 and implemented at UG level since 2022-23 Academic Session. The department has restructured its curriculum and incorporated all the current and emerging issues in the syllabus. The details of the courses are as under:
